Osb. osb (oriented strand board) is really common in roof and wall sheathing, as well as subflooring. it doesn’t do so well for shed floors. the reason? shed floors need to be able to handle exposure to moisture. osb doesn’t do well with moisture. you’ll almost immediately see signs of swelling around the edges of the boards.. Don't use osb (orientated stranded board) for permanent structures. it will breakdown with time. ideally, 18mm wbp (water and boil proof) plywood would be the correct sheet to use..
7/16 osb really isn't adequate for your roof, even if you're running rafters on 16" centers. you might get by with 7/16 plywood, but even that would be iffy. i put 5/8 osb on the roof of the 8x12 shed i built this summer (16" centered rafters)..
